At one point or another, you may have come across the concept of the Law of Attraction. Time and time again, we’ve been told about the power that we hold over our own lives, and how we can create our destiny and manifest the things we desire.
You may have met people who have successfully applied this in their lives and swear by it, and you may have equally heard from cynics who debunk this as a myth.
Our reality is one of a kind. How we experience life, regardless of what it is, is ultimately unique to us. No two people have the same models of reality, and that’s how our differences make each one of us exclusive.
We all experience reality based on our beliefs and in turn, continuously create and re-create reality with those beliefs.
How Do Thoughts Create Reality?
On average, every person has at least 3,000 thoughts per hour. If you are awake for roughly 16 hours, that gives you 48,000 thoughts in a day. On its own, any one of those 48,000 thoughts doesn’t express too much power over your ongoing reality.
However, it’s those pervading thoughts, that you regularly think about day and night, that are intensely powerful in affecting your upcoming reality.
Some of the greatest people who ever lived once counseled us to look at everything as energy. Today, quantum physics has solidified this, stating that everything is made up of energy.
Everything that surrounds us is energy. Our thoughts are no exception to this. Even if we do not physically see the thoughts running through our minds, they are vibrating at a particular frequency.
Through the Law of Attraction, which states, “like energy attracts like energy,” we learn that we are continually attracting things towards us. Even more than we attract people physically, we attract objects, events, and circumstances. Our thoughts are very powerful.
Other people remain cynical and hesitant in believing what is initially considered a new age philosophy, but regardless, our subconscious mind, and the power it wields over us is no myth. In our minds are where our deeply ingrained beliefs and impactful memories gained throughout our lives are stored.
The real power in understanding how the mind creates our reality is knowing that our day to day lives are guided at a subliminally conscious level. Our subconscious mind is the quiet programming behind who we are, how we think, and how we project ourselves to the world. It is the primary programming of our thoughts that influence us daily and how our reality is created.
Controlling Our Thoughts is Key to Creating the Reality We Desire
Our minds are powerful, but we’ll never be able to fully grasp this truth or be able to tap into this powerful force within ourselves until we understand that this is the nature of how our reality is created.
There are few limits to what we can create in reality, but knowing how this is made possible and understanding how it works is critical to fully taking advantage of it.
How we continuously experience reality and the future will be greatly dependent on the thoughts that we deliberately choose to give power to.
To be the master of our lives and our future, we need to be more intentional every day. Steering our lives into the direction that we choose to go will be determined by how effectively we can control our minds.
While there may be times when our thoughts are simply random and inconsequential, thoughts only have power over reality when they dominate your being. Idle thoughts bring little or no change.
The more often you think about something and the more intense the emotions you associate with those thoughts, the more you attract that reality to manifest in your life.
A single thought by itself has little power, but it’s the energy you give to it that helps it grow, ultimately helping you to attract circumstances that match your thoughts. In the same way, when you deliberately want to manifest something, you attach strong, powerful emotions to it to more certainly make it possible.
Thoughts are the mental blueprint that serves as the official guide of our reality. Manifesting the life that we desire will be made possible through more by looking within than beyond ourselves.
To a very significant extent, we have control over how we would like our future to be. Highly successful people created their lives by cultivating their creative power. We have the same opportunity to follow our dre
